Citizen Sensors for SHM (initialized as Ekinstitutes Accelerometer) is an accelerometer (will be extended to other sensors in the future) application which is connected to a web-based platform (www.ekinstitute.com) that can store and process your acceleration time history data, and return the Discrete Fourier Transform (DFT).
Without access to the web-based platform, you can acquire acceleration time history data in the desired direction (x, y or z based on users preference) as a text column. The sampling rate is set equal to 100 Hz by default.
If you have access to the www.ekinstitute.com, you can copy, paste and store your accelerometer time history data, view it online, see the DFT results and other record information as a summary. Please contact the developer for access request, and you will be provided with an id and password (developer email: [email protected]).
